The Cardboard Derby held February 4, 2002 on Copper Mountain, Colorado, features the "Kitty Litterbox Express", featuring members of the Colorado Cat Collectors' Club. Aren't we cute!?!?!

Annette and Joe made the craft in Joe's garage. Here is the 'picture of a picture' of the starting of the craft.

A very well made craft, it stayed together coming down the mountain, but...... Before we go there..... Dawn is breaking and see crafts just starting to come out onto the hill:

And the 3 'CAT-a-teers' were celebrating the night before:

And then the sun comes up and we have to go!!

There were 3 lanes on the run, and 3 crafts could come down at one time, but after a few accidents, one lane was closed.

We struggle to get the craft up the hill. It was much more steep than it looks!

Here we are parked half-way up the mountain getting ready to head up the steepest part.
