Colorado Cat Collectors

The Colorado Cat Collectors' Club got together on August 8, 2009 at Kathleen’s home for a Pot Luck lunch and to do our annual birthday gift exchange. Then we went to Russell Stover’s to have ice cream! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!

Clearing the table after our scrumptious luncheon:

Everyone brought one gift to exchange. We drew numbers to see who would go first – it was Kathleen. From there we went through to the last which was Karen. First always gets a chance to exchange the gift chosen for any of the others at the very end when all gifts are opened.

The “Birthday Girls” also had other gifts from the Birthday Fairy:

Our next get together will be September 19 at Kathleen’s home to carpool to Fort Collins to shop at the antique stores and flea markets. We’ll lunch at the Deli across the street from the shops. A reminder also – September 12 is the Cat Care Society’s fund raiser. Check www.catcaresociety.org for details.
